Rice Lake

Took this picture in the same set as the fern picture (roughly five back I’d say?) and it’s a shot of the lake I took my lovely walk around.  It’s called Rice Lake and it’s in the Seymour Demonstration Forest.  If you live in Greater Vancouver and you’ve never been there GO RIGHT NOW.  It’s very beautiful, you’d swear there isn’t a city around for miles, it’s such a pristine little chunk of wilderness.  Your visit will likely come complete with fishers, ducks and a few deer sitings (seriously, I got all those when I was there.  Cutest family teaching their daughter to fish, a ton of ducks, but I can’t guarantee the deer.  I do have excellent deer stalking skills, haha) .  Well worth the visit.
